Pasture- Raised Eggs
At Gracemere Farmstead we have delicious chicken and duck eggs available for sale. We also occasionally have Point-of-Lay chickens available for those wishing to have their own chickens.
Chicken Eggs
Our layer chickens are raised in a moveable chicken ‘caravan’ that is regularly rotated onto fresh spray-free pastures. They are fed the highest quality organic layer pellets as well as any fresh insects or plants that they forage from around the caravan.
They have a special protector in Pickles, one of our 3 Maremma dogs who helps keep the chickens safe from any unwanted predators.
Our eggs are available fortnightly from Yamba Farmers Market or fresh from the farm by appointment.
We also have just recently started selling duck eggs. Limited quantity available at the moment while our flock settles into their new home.
Point of Lay Chickens
We occasionally have point of lay chickens available for sale. These chickens are raised by us from day-olds, fed certified organic feed and allowed access to roam our fresh green pastures. Once these chickens have settled into your home in just a few short weeks you should have some delicious home grown eggs for you to enjoy.
